Caring for your Flowers
Caring for your flowers:
Remove the wrapping: Gently remove any paper or plastic wrapping to allow your flowers to breathe.
Trim the stems: Use clean scissors or a sharp knife to cut 2-4 cm off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle.
Prepare a clean vase: Choose a clean vase and fill it with fresh, lukewarm water.
Remove excess leaves: Trim any leaves that will be submerged in water to prevent bacteria from forming.
Add flower food or a homemade preservative: You can mix a teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of bleach in the vase water to help preserve your blooms.
Place in the right spot: Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts to help them last longer.
Change the water regularly: Refresh the water every 2-3 days, rinsing the vase and trimming the stems before putting them back.
Mist or hydrate: Lightly mist the flowers or allow them to hydrate in a basin of water for 1-2 hours, if needed.
By following these simple care tips, your flowers will stay vibrant and beautiful for longer!
